ShredBank are proud to be represented on the Council of The Prince’s Trust in Northern Ireland. Over the last three years we have raised over £40,000 for The Trust. The Prince’s Trust is a cross community charity that helps provide opportunities to young people to get into employment, training and further education.
ShredBank raise money for Alzheimer’s Research UK through our Shredathon’s that take place on the last Friday of each month in Forestside Shopping Centre from 12noon – 2pm. Alzheimer’s Research UK is a charity organisation focused on improving the quality of life of people affected by dementia.
ShredBank believe strongly in the importance of a strong and vibrant local economy and are delighted to be represented in the Council of the Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce. The Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce is a central part of the Northern Ireland economy and is devoted to the expansion of business, exporting of goods and services and networking with like-minded individuals.
We believe that the development of leadership and management is crucial for a sustainable and growing economy. Therefore, we are actively involved at a strategic level with the Chartered Management Institute. Philip Bain, our co-founder, is the Chair of the Chartered Management Institute in Northern Ireland. The Chartered Management Institute has 100,000 members and is dedicated to raising the standards of management across the UK and Ireland.
James Carson, Co-owner of ShredBank is on the Board of Governors for Cairnshill Primary School. Cairnshill Primary School has approximately 500 children and is situated in Belfast, close to ShredBank. We strongly believe in developing children for a better future therefore, alongside our school competitions, James assists in the development of this local primary school and surrounding community.
